Software Sales Executive
Description
PSNI is looking for an Account Executive to join our sales team. We are looking for a polished professional with proven success selling integrated software solutions to the public sector or medical industry. 4 to 7+ years sales experience with proficiency in 1 year+ sales cycles while building and fostering long term relationships. Position Description
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business
- Meet and exceed sales quotas
- Design and implement territory plans
- Build and maintain pipeline / pipeline management
- Facilitate communications and conduct live or web-demonstrations to existing and prospective customers
- Research sources for developing leads and for information to determine their potential
- Develop clear and effective written proposals and quotes for current and prospective customers
- Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends
- Prepare proposals, responses to RFPs and deliver timely replies to new clients
- Participate in trade shows and conventions (live and virtual)
- Outbound travel approximately 15+ times annually: trade shows / conferences, partner meetings, onsite demos, customer presentations (weekend travel a must)
- Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, business, and training groups
- Expedite the resolution of customer issues
Qualifications
- Exceptional organization skills, documentation practices, and ability to multi-task
- Solid understanding of SAAS and technical environments
- Aptitude to prospect and cold call
- Prior software sales experience
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Candidate must pass a NH criminal background check
Technical Proficiency
- Experience using Microsoft Office in a Windows environment required
- Computer skills to include Internet, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
