Mid-Level Backend Developer (In-House)
Description
We are looking for a great developer who is proficient with C# and EF Core. You will focus on developing RESTful APIs. You will also be responsible for maintaining existing code. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is vital.
Responsibilities:
• Building reusable components backend libraries for future use
• Developing an API layer for our enterprise-level application
• Developing microservices for our enterprise-level application
• Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
• Participating in all the ceremonies related to agile development (daily stand-up, grooming, retrospective, etc.)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field, required
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience writing C#
• Experience with EF Core, required
• Experience with Microservice architecture, required
• Experience with MassTransit, a plus
• Knowledge of creating RESTful APIs, required
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with Git
• Positive can-do attitude and a team player with initiative
