PSNI, LLC. COMPLETES SOC 2 TYPE 2 AUDIT
The leading provider of student electronic health record (EHR) completes industry-standard review, strengthening its commitment to secure client information practices.
AMHERST, NH – August 5, 2024 – PSNI, LLC. – the leading provider of student EHR software solutions, used daily by over 13,000 school nurses, announced that it has completed the SOC® 2 Type 2 examination as it repeatedly demonstrates its commitment to protecting sensitive student data for its customers in the US and 25 different countries.
A SOC 2 Type 2 examination is a voluntary review that audits compliance with the leading industry standard for handling enterprise data. It validates PSNI’s security practices and controls to meet the Trust Services Principles and Criteria for security, availability, and privacy over a long period.
“This is the seventh major independent examination of our procedures and policies review that we’ve completed. This gives our customers confidence that the PSNI’s security and controls are in place to protect their sensitive information while continuing to meet or exceed industry standards,” said PSNI Security Office Michael Pescuma. “We continually evaluate our security measures through assessments such as SOC 2 so that our customers can be confident that their information is secure.”
Created by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a SOC 2 audit is an independent audit that measures the availability, security, and integrity of an organization’s specific data processing systems and ultimately determines whether safeguards are effective. The SOC 2 reports are recognized worldwide and ensure that a company’s infrastructure, software, people, data, policies, procedures, and operations have been formally audited.
PSNI was pleased to have the opportunity to work with MSPAlliance® who facilitated the independent examination.
