Refugee and Immigrant Health
Many communities are welcoming immigrant and refugee families who enroll children in school. How do we identify, prioritize, and address the unique health needs of this population? Join us for a discussion to answer these questions and learn about practical and valuable resources that will help School Nurses ensure optimal health for learning.
Learning Objectives:
- The learner will identify three areas of priority in the health care of refugee and immigrant students and families
- The learner will define at least two resources or tools to utilize when navigating health care for refugee and immigrant students and families
