Join Kim as she delves into how derogatory language affects student health and educational outcomes. This webinar will highlight the consequences of stigmatization, share research insights, and offer practical tools for creating a more positive and empowering school culture. The speaker is Kimberly Garrett, BSN, RN, LSN, NCSN. Kimberly has been a nurse for over 25 years. She has served in a variety of healthcare roles including a Trauma Center Nurse, a Senior Quality Consultant, a Clinical Research Coordinator, and more recently for 8 years as the Director of Health Services and a School Nurse for a K – 12 school system. Kimberly passionately pursues opportunities to improve care coordination and clinical outcomes for students and productivity and job satisfaction for school nurses.
