National Nurses Week is here and there are a number of freebies and deals available!
Nurses Week was created back in 1990 and runs May 6 - May 12 each year. National Nurses Day is officially on May 6 and May 12 is the birthday of Florence Nightingale, who is often credited with being the founder of modern nursing.
The offers for National Nurses Week in 2022 are valid at participating locations. This list will continue to grow as we get closer to May 6 and more locations announce deals.
Chipotle: Nominate a healthcare worker to win free Chipotle for a year from 4/8/22 to 5/6/22. To nominate someone, go to the Chipotle Instagram, Facebook or Twitter pages. Then tag a Healthcare Hero and share something about their impact. They will automatically be nominated for the giveaway. A total of 2,000 prizes will be given away. Great American Cookies: Nurses, teachers & first responders will receive a free Chocolate Chip Cookie with purchase with a valid ID through May 6th at participating Great American Cookies locations. See the offer on their Twitter page.
Insomnia Cookies: Nurses, teachers and school staff will receive a free 6-pack of Classic cookies with a $5 in-store purchase from May 2-May 6 with school or nursing ID. You need to mention the deal in store and show ID to redeem (employment ID badge, pay stub, or other official proof verifying your position as a nurse or teacher). McAlister’s Deli: From 5/4-5/11, nurses and teachers get a free 32 oz. McAlister’s Tea when you show valid educator or nurse ID. There is a limit of one per person for dine in and takeout orders only at participating locations. There is no purchase necessary.
Moe's Southwest Grill locations in Triangle: Enter the name of the hospital or doctor's office where you work on the post on the Moe's Triangle Facebook page by May 6 to enter to win one of 5 free Moe’s Meal Kits for local #HealthcareHeroes. MOD Pizza: Nurses can sign up on the MOD Pizza website between May 2 and 4 for a buy one, get one free MOD-size pizza or salad offer. Only the first 30,000 who sign up will get the offer. Then, on May 5, they will email a scannable coupon to those who signed up. The coupon is valid May 6-8 online or in-store for a buy one, get one free pizza or salad. PDQ: To celebrate Teachers and Nurses Appreciation Week, PDQ is offering $1 off each boxed lunch purchased when you purchase 10 or more from May 1-15. This deal is available online when purchasing through the PDQ catering site at pdqcateringsfl.com.
Potbelly Sandwich Shop: Teachers and nurses will receive a free cookie or regular fountain drink with entree purchase when you show your staff ID in-shop For teachers, the offer is valid 5/3-5/8 and for nurses, the offer is available 5/6-5/12.
Ruby Tuesday: Nurses get a $1.99 Garden Bar add-on on May 6 with teacher ID.
Zaxby's: On May 3, Zaxby's is celebrating National Nurses and Teachers Appreciation Week by offering a Buy One, Get One Boneless Wings Meal. The Boneless Wings Meal includes five, boneless wings tossed in one of nine different sauces and is served with Texas Toast, crinkle fries and Ranch sauce.
