Technical Support & Program Maintenance

The yearly SNAP Health Center support and maintenance plan includes 3 important features: unlimited technical phone support, yearly updates with downloadable state immunization requirements and free software program updates/upgrades. These features allow you to keep up with the most up-to-date technology and medical record documentation requirements.

Software Training

Understanding how to effectively use SNAP Health Center ultimately saves time and dramatically increases health clinic productivity. PSNI has worked hard to develop a detailed teaching strategy that has proven to be highly successful in quickly and effectively teaching the ins and outs of SNAP Health Center. Part of this strategy is using nurses to teach each class. Because of this, each trainer fully understands what the health office environment is like and how to best use SNAP Health Center. Instructors present the class material in a straightforward format without all the confusing and unnecessary 'technical talk'.

PSNI offers 4 forms of training:

  • Web-based Training: Web-based training is an inexpensive, convenient way to get started with SNAP Health Center. Attendees use an Internet meeting forum that enables them to view the training on their own computer. The trainer demonstrates the program while the attendees listen and ask questions over a telephone conference line.

  • Conference Center Training: PSNI offers one day training seminars at our company headquarters located in Nashua, NH. These classes last 6 hours and are hand-on. PSNI provides the use of a laptop for each attendee as well as a continental breakfast, lunch, and two snacks.

  • Online Learning Center: Through SNAP’s Online Learning Center, nurses join a virtual training conference. From the comfort of your home or school office, you have a seat amongst the participants at the PSNI headquarters in Nashua, NH (described above). Connecting to a web meeting and phone conference, you can interact with the instructor and other participants. This class provides you with the same quality of training as if you attended live and in person.

  • Onsite Training: PSNI sends a trainer to your site to train up to 10 of your district's staff. This is a 7 hour, hands-on training (6 hours of instruction and one hour of breaks). PSNI provides installation media for the training lab which maybe installed by your district's technology staff.
